  Shirataki Konjac has been known and used in Asia for over two thousand years. It is known as Moyu or Juruo in China, and Konnyaku or Shirataki in Japan.

It is made of natural water-soluble fibre with no fat, sugar or starch.

It contains zero net carbohydrates and zero calories, no gluten -made of a healthy natural fibre called Glucomannan. It is wheat & gluten free and kosher.

It easily absorbs the flavours of any sauce, dish or soup.

It is instant and comes in a variety of styles although at present only the Angel Hair Pasta and Rice are available in the UK.

It has been shown to be beneficial effects backed by medical studies for Type II Diabetes, constipation, obesity, and cholesterol

Hand-made in Suffolk from nylon mesh (135 microns), the Woodbridge Nut Milk Bag is excellent for the preparation of nut milks, juices and cheese.  It can also be used for sprouting seeds.

 

The extra large bag measures approximately  35cms by 25cms with drawstring – perfect for getting every drop of that delicious fresh home-made  taste.

This is what drives their commitment to keep on delivering outstanding products based on ethical aromatherapy principles, and it is this quest for the best that has stood the test of time and that we are delighted to be able to pass on to you.

  • 'NO' to SYNTHETIC FRAGRANCES
    Tisserand only ever use pure essential oils and absolutes. Directly derived from plants, they are entirely natural and deliver their own unique therapeutic and aromatic properties.
     
  • 'NO' to SLS/SLES
    They use alternative cleansing and foaming agents, such as ALS, which is derived from coconut oil and free from petrochemicals, to deliver mild foam that is kind to the skin.
     
  • 'NO' to PARABENS
    The alternatives that they use (chlorphenesin, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, to name a few) are just as effective in terms of microbiological/challenge testing, but are often milder to the skin.
     
  • 'NO' to ANIMAL INGREDIENTS
    They do not use animal derived ingredients, such as lanolin or beeswax, and their products and ingredients are not tested on animals by them or on their behalf. They are proud to be certified by the Vegan Society.

    Such as phthalates, formaldehyde, petrochemicals (such as mineral oil, paraffin and petrolatum), propylene glycol, aluminium compounds, triclosan, BHA, methyldibromoglutaronitrile, triethanolamine, DMDM hydantoin, diazolidinyl urea and quaternium-15.
